Since its establishment, the company has been cooperating with several R&D insitutions and has been in contact with various test basins and open water test zones all around Europe. The company’s main partners in the technology development include, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia, and Etra d.o.o. from Celje, Slovenia. The department for naval engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, specifically prof. Milan Hofman, PhD, has been developing software for performance analysis of various converter designs based on real sea data that served as basis for the latest models, tested in basins around Europe (Aalborg, Denmark, and Brest, France). Etra d.o.o. from Celje is a mid-sized company from Slovenia that develops innovative solutions in the fields of automatisation, electronics, etc. The team behind the company has been thus far in charge of the development of the electrical system, its controls and monitoring.
